When Amy Shark won the 2017 ARIA award for Best Pop Release, she told the audience “If you’re a struggling musician who feels like they’re getting nowhere, just keep going.”
She was that struggling musician not long ago. Amy Shark spent 10 years playing bars before earning multiple ARIA nominations, Australia’s highest music honor. That’s not even the end of the amazing things she’s accomplished this year!
When speaking to POPSUGAR Australia, she said she checked two items off her bucket list in 2017 – performing on The Late Late Show with James Corden and working/touring with Bleachers front man Jack Antonoff.
