The day after releasing her “Daddy Lessons” collaboration with Dixie Chicks, Beyoncé has dropped the official video for the song.

The lengthy clip (over seven minutes long) was part of Beyoncé’s HBO Lemonade special, which aired in April. The gorgeously shot video begins with a black and white shot of a swamp and a mansion and features images of girls playing with dolls and leaping on a bed as Beyoncé speaks.

Then the video switches to color — Wizard of Oz-style — and images of people from New Orleans and Houston flood the screen, along with a shot of a brass band on a stoop.

Beyoncé, adorned in a flowing dress, starts singing, and is joined by a guitar player. There are also shots of her riding a horse and family films of Queen Bey talking with her father, Matthew Knowles about her grandparents.
