Lady Gaga is one of several big pop names reportedly working on a new album. At least that’s what she hinted after wrapping the latest season of American Horror Story. Now, a picture has emerged that shows Gaga with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, and of course it’s got the rumor mill buzzing.

Producer Mark Ronson shared a picture of the two artists on his Instagram account Sunday (May 22) with the ambiguous caption “Illusion.” Whether that’s referring to a new song’s title, an album name, or perhaps their working together doesn’t mean what we think remains to be seen.
In a previous post just two hours earlier, Ronson shared a picture of Parker on drums with the word “Crash” serving as caption. In early 2016, Ronson expressed an interest in working with Gaga once again. From what he’s chosen to share on Instagram, it looks as though he got his wish.
Gaga has been busy working more heavily in TV and film. Her most recent solo album ARTPOPA was released in 2013, and while Gaga followed that up with Cheek to Cheek, an album of duets with Tony Bennett in 2014, she’s been relatively quiet when it comes to new music of her own. She co-wrote the song “Till It Happens to You” with Diane Warren for the film The Hunting Ground, but it’s been some time since her Little Monsters have gotten original new music from the artist.
That could soon change.
