There’s no doubt Sia knows what it takes to write a killer song.  She’s written for Rihanna, Katy Perry, Beyoncé, Britney Spears…even Celine Dion.

Her new album This Is Acting is actually full of songs she wrote for other artists – but were rejected.

Cheap Thrills was originally written for Rihanna’s ANTI album, then passed along to Icona Pop but neither artist wanted to keep the song.  In true Sia form, she believed in herself and her work and put the song on her own album. The bouncy, party anthem is full of the self-confidence and authenticity that defines Sia.

Cheap Thrills is Carson’s Pick Of The Week.
